Deborah L. Bartlett is an associate at Powers Miller specializing in civil litigation, including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and construction defect law. Before and during law school, Deborah worked as lead paralegal for a national insurance company which enabled her expand her knowledge by assisting with many matters from initial assignment through trial.
Deborah feels that her ability to listen to and obtain information from clients has enabled her to guide her clients through the litigation process. “Listening to clients to obtain information provides necessary knowledge to find resolutions to the issues that arise. Each case is different and brings new challenges.”
Deborah grew up in California, but has also lived in several other states. She enjoys volunteering at events that assist veterans obtain services they may not otherwise be able to access. She also volunteers at a non-profit corporation which seeks to eliminate domestic violence and human trafficking through legal aid, education and by increasing self-determination.
She is also an avid gardener, loves being active, working on family history and spending time with her family and friends.
