Special Investigation Unit Cases
The firm is experienced in handling fraud and special investigation unit cases. Our lawyers have achieved eight defense verdicts in low impact cases, and our handling of special investigation unit cases has resulted in prosecutions of two plaintiffs. Brian Powers has conducted seminars with applications to SIU issues. Lawyers in the firm belong to Northern California Fraud Investigators Association.

We represent defendants in commercial and residential premises liability actions and have obtained defense verdicts in these areas. Representative cases include trip and falls, slip and falls, assault and battery, falling objects, false imprisonment, and other related actions. Our lawyers are very experienced in defending businesses in varying and complex products liability actions, with special emphasis on medical device defect claims.
